What Rollie Said

The book is set in Marion, a fictional town in the Cascade Mountains. Though the town is fictional, the region it’s set in is not. I was extremely happy to have Rollie Schmitten, the well-respected local historian and self-described “mystery junkie,” as an early reader.

After his read, I’d asked him to describe what he’d say to someone else about the book. His response:

From the murder in the prologue to a surprise ending, you will not be able to put it down.

While, of course, I like to think the book is all that plus a side of fries it’s really nice when one of your readers thinks so highly of it, too.

I’m so psyched I might not need that fifth cup of coffee this morning…
