Elk Embosser Prototype

My friend, Ed, made this cute little embosser and I love it so much!

It does require a lot of pressure—like stand-on-top-and-jump-up-and-down on it pressure—so we need to work out some kind of lever linkage that is simple enough for folks to use easily. Still, the results with this little prototype are really encouraging.

It’s been getting a lot of use as we experiment, and that really shows with the white 3D printing filament. I think we’ll switch to something darker, and we’ll probably put a couple of registration pins up at the top so the image is always level with respect to the paper.
