ISBN Heaven!

I bought 10 ISBNs from Bowker today. Staggering how much these 13-digit numbers cost, really. As someone who was intimately involved with personal identifiers for [redacted], I know there’s overhead involved in generating, maintaining, and securing these important values. 

However, their estimated revenue of $22 million to $35 million annually seems like, well, a lot. 

But then, I just spent a load of cash just for a bunch of numbers, so I might be a little steamed.
