Plain Hardware!

You’ve got to love a town named Plain, right? Nothing fancy, just Plain. Another thing to love about Plain is their hardware store, Plain Hardware. They’re incredible. Need to build a house? They got you. Rent skis? Huge inventory. Hot chocolate and a raspberry scone? Sure, no problem.

They support local authors, too. I saw three of my friend Rollie Schmitten’s books there. I wandered in the other day brandishing a copy of my book and asking whether they’d be interested. Well, they took TEN!

I was really surprised—the biggest store order I’d had before was seven. But ten? Well, no surprise for such a well-run place, they know their business and the very next day I got a lovely note from them saying they’d already sold two copies. Amazing!
